MARKETING MANAGER (SPORTS OR SPONSORSHIP) | DURATION 4+MONTHS (APPROX) | $55-$60 PER HOUR (W2) | LOCATION BOSTON, MA (REMOTE)

Position: Marketing Manager (Sports and/or Sponsorship)
Pay: $55-$60 per hour (W2)
Duration: 3-4 months
Role Overview
As a key player in the sponsorship marketing team, you will manage advertising and promotional campaigns, oversee activations, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive meaningful engagement. Your expertise in strategic marketing, project management, and cross-channel execution will be essential in maximizing the value of our sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities Activation Oversight:
Lead the execution of sponsorship activations across owned, paid, earned, and partner channels. Creative Development:
Work with internal and external creative teams to produce high-quality content, including digital assets, social media content, web pages, print ads, and video materials. Social Media & Communications:
Partner with internal teams to manage social amplification, internal communications, and leadership engagement around sponsorship initiatives. Paid Media Strategy:
Support media planning and execution across digital, social, broadcast, and other platforms. Review & Approval Coordination:
Track and manage internal and external approvals for creative and promotional materials. Public Relations Coordination:
Align with PR teams to develop press releases and other earned media opportunities. Property Collaboration:
Work closely with sponsored organizations to optimize marketing placements across their platforms while ensuring brand consistency and contractual compliance. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a liaison with internal teams to align sponsorship activations with overall brand and marketing goals. Tactical Execution:
Develop and implement additional marketing tactics to enhance audience engagement, brand perception, and campaign impact. Hospitality Integration:
Coordinate messaging for sponsorship-related hospitality programs. Campaign Performance Tracking:
Assist with qualitative and quantitative assessments of campaign effectiveness. Contract & Rights Management:
Become an expert on sponsorship agreements, ensuring accurate usage of logos, terminology, imagery, and other assets. General Marketing Support:
Contribute to various marketing initiatives, such as newsletters, competitive analysis, event coordination, athlete partnerships, sweepstakes management, and executive speaking engagements. Qualifications
Required:
8+ years of experience in sponsorship or sports marketing. Strong strategic marketing and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. Passion for sports, branding, and marketing strategy. Experience with sponsorship property approvals and integrated marketing campaigns. Paid media experience. Experience with video content creation.
