PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES Develop and Own Email Strategy:

Create and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies, including lead nurture campaigns aligned with sales motions and customer lifecycles.

Centralize & Optimize Email Operations:

Take full ownership of the email marketing function, bringing structure and best practices to an environment where Sales previously managed communications.

Improve Deliverability & Compliance:

Diagnose and resolve deliverability issues by implementing best practices, list hygiene, opt-in compliance, and segmentation strategies.

Database Management & Data Hygiene:

Manage large-scale customer and prospect databases, ensuring clean, high-quality data through regular audits, deduplication, and data enhancement.

Sales Collaboration & Enablement:

Partner closely with Sales to translate their motions into effective email nurture campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.

HubSpot Management:

Own and optimize HubSpot email marketing and CRM automation to improve targeting, personalization, and engagement.

Email Testing & Learning Strategy:

Implement A/B and multivariate testing frameworks to optimize subject lines, creative, copy, timing, and segmentation.

Creative & Copywriting Excellence:

Craft high-converting email copy and designs that engage audiences, align with our brand voice, and drive action.

Reporting & Optimization:

Monitor email performance, deliverability, and engagement metrics, using data-driven insights to continuously refine campaigns.

KEY COMPETENCIES Strong knowledge of email deliverability best practices

Proficiency in HubSpot email marketing and automation

Expertise in managing large-scale databases

Experience aligning email marketing with sales cycles

Excellent copywriting and email design abilities

Knowledge of data append strategies (plus)

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Strong collaboration ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to ensure alignment and drive successful email marketing campaigns.

Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

8+ years of email marketing experience in B2B and B2C. (Required)

Experience working with large brands or high-growth companies. (Required)

Familiarity with A/B testing and performance analytics tools. (Required)

Experience in financial services and/or fintech. (Preferred)
