Position Overview:
We are seeking a
Polysomnographic Technologist
to join our
day shift team . In this important role, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies to help diagnose and treat sleep disorders. Your work will directly contribute to improving the health and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct Polysomnographic Testing:
Perform sleep studies in accordance with established protocols and specific patient needs. Monitor Patient Data:
Continuously monitor and analyze patient data during sleep studies to ensure accuracy and reliability. Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that all equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and functioning, and keep testing environments clean and safe. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with our sleep physicians, technologists, and respiratory therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients. Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately document and report the results of sleep studies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning. Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography Program or equivalent experience. Experience:
At least 1 year of experience preferred, though not required. Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required. RPSGT
(Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification or
RST
(Registered Sleep Technologist) credential preferred. Certification as a
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
or
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
will also be considered.
