We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing and Business Development to lead our marketing efforts, enhance our brand presence, and drive firm growth. Position We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and manage the firm’s daily marketing and business development efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives across various channels, including external communications, content creation, community engagement, sponsorships, brand management, social media, website and SEO optimization, and vendor relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal marketing and a proven ability to craft and implement comprehensive strategies that drive firm growth and enhance brand visibility. Responsibilities: • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the firm’s goals, including digital marketing, social media, content creation, public relations, and advertising. • Brand Management: Enhance the firm’s brand presence and reputation through consistent messaging, creative campaigns, and community engagement. • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with vendors to optimize the firm’s online presence, including website, social media, and SEO efforts. Analyze and report on digital marketing performance and make data-driven decisions. • Content Creation: Oversee and create high-quality content for various platforms, including blogs, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials that resonate with our target audience. • Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate and nurture leads, working closely with the legal team to convert leads into clients. • Partnerships and Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, media outlets, and community partners to enhance the firm’s visibility and reputation in Charleston and surrounding areas. • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that all initiatives are cost-effective and deliver a strong ROI. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing. Legal industry experience is preferred, personal injury law experience is a plus. • Highly organized and results-orientated. • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth. • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and effectively communicate the firm’s value proposition. • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative strategies that set the firm apart from competitors. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: $60,000+

Compensation: $60,000 per year
