We are seeking an experienced Senior Cryptographic Engineer who has a proven track record in Cryptographic Product Modernization (CryptoMod) initiatives and understands Key Management Infrastructure. The right candidate will lead the requirements analysis, system engineering, and design analysis efforts to fill gaps identified in updated Crypto Mod ICD. Job Summary: This role involves responsibilities that may be broad in nature, requiring creativity and originality in problem-solving. The Senior Cryptographic Engineer will have considerable autonomy in developing strategies and presenting effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement systems engineering processes to analyze alternatives and propose solutions that align with customer needs. Gather mission-specific information and contribute to the development of infrastructure and end cryptographic unit specifications. Develop System Architecture, CONOPS, and use cases using established systems engineering methodologies. Oversee requirements management, including decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation for future development and testing phases. Lead discussions during internal and customer meetings. Relocation assistance is available if you need to move to San Diego, CA. Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance post-hire. Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Expertise in Cryptographic Technologies:

In-depth knowledge of HAIPE, EDE CIS, and similar technologies. Familiarity with DoD Protocols:

Understanding of dynamic discovery processes and security protocols in DoD networks. Vendor Roadmaps:

Awareness of vendor strategies for discovery technologies to ensure alignment with industry trends. Proficient in Cryptographic Modernization 2 Operational Management:

Skilled in Configuration Management via approaches such as NETCONF/RESTCONF and YANG modeling. Strong Analytical Skills:

Ability to interpret complex security requirements and translate them into viable technical solutions. Desired Qualifications: Experience with computing and related technologies. Understanding of Cryptographic Key Management based on EKMS and KMI. Familiarity with System Architecture development concepts. Knowledge of Agile methodologies. Detailed understanding of Networking and Interface technologies. Comprehension of security requirements and implementation strategies. Strong background in Requirements Specification and Management.
