Job Description: • The Senior Vice President of Communications will partner with leadership to execute a comprehensive communications strategy across earned, executive, and social channels. • This role requires a deep understanding of business objectives and the ability to develop impactful strategies that drive client success. • You will lead corporate communications strategies, oversee narrative development, and enhance the team's approach to media effectiveness. • The position demands proactive client engagement, strategic mentorship, and a focus on staying ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities: • Collaborate with leadership to shape and execute corporate communication strategies. • Implement effective measurement processes, tools, and approaches for communication efforts. • Align communications strategies with clients' unique objectives to achieve measurable results. • Develop and manage project plans, scopes, and cross-channel strategies. • Craft compelling narratives and distribution strategies that amplify client visibility. • Generate innovative ideas and value that extend beyond current client engagements. • Foster the team's understanding of evolving news and media landscapes. • Utilize strong media relationships to enhance client narratives and campaigns. • Anticipate client needs, maintain momentum across multiple activities, and lead project execution. • Mentor and inspire teams while driving office culture and operational excellence. • Stay informed about market trends and competitive insights to provide strategic recommendations. • Lead new business development initiatives and pitch presentations. • Manage budgets, third-party resources, and ensure exemplary client service.
Required Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. • 15+ years of experience, with a minimum of 12 years in an agency environment. • Expertise in creative ideation, campaign execution, thought leadership, and executive communications. • Demonstrated success in media relations and maintaining strong industry connections. • Exceptional writing, narrative development, and presentation skills. • Proven ability to mentor and lead diverse teams effectively. • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset. • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to fast-paced environments.
