Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced BlackRock Aladdin SME / Data Analyst with expertise in Aladdin Studio integration to drive data management, analysis, and system integration efforts within Client's asset management and portfolio operations. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of the Aladdin platform, particularly in optimizing data flows and integrating Aladdin Studio with various business processes to ensure accurate and timely insights across our investment management operations.
The role is hybrid (Boston, Massachusetts, United States).
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on the BlackRock Aladdin platform, providing guidance, training, and support across the business and technology teams.
Lead the design and implementation of Aladdin Studio integrations to ensure smooth data flow and process automation between Aladdin and Client's internal systems.
Build and optimize custom workflows, reports, and dashboards using Aladdin Studio's analytical and programming capabilities.
Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from Aladdin to support portfolio management, risk analysis, and compliance monitoring.
Configure and customize the Aladdin platform to meet Client's business needs, including creating custom analytics, dashboards, and data pipelines. Ensure that all system configurations comply with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with portfolio managers, risk managers, IT teams, and data analysts to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within the Aladdin ecosystem.
Continuously improve Aladdin system performance by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, automate processes, and streamline data integration efforts. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Aladdin platform.
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration workflows, data mappings, and process guidelines.
Manage end-to-end projects related to Aladdin implementations and system enhancements.
Ensure the Aladdin platform and associated processes comply with regulatory requirements, and provide support for audits and regulatory reviews as needed.
Experience:
5+ years of experience working with the BlackRock Aladdin platform, with a strong focus on Aladdin Studio integration and data analytics.
Proven experience in financial services, particularly in asset management, portfolio management, or risk management functions.
Advanced proficiency with Aladdin Studio and its integration capabilities.
Strong experience in data analytics, particularly with SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
Knowledge of API integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data workflows.
Solid understanding of investment management, asset allocation, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with fixed income, equities, and derivatives trading and portfolio management processes.
