Overview:

The role of the HRSC Communications Specialist involves the development of communication strategies and communications to effectively engage and inform employees using various channels, as well as overseeing the maintenance and design of the HR Portal. This position requires expertise in communication, human resources, instructional design, basic html, and the ability to simplify complex information. Responsibilities: Communications Support: Develop effective communication strategies based on various Quest employee personas; update strategies as needed based on engagement feedback and analytics Develop, prepare, and send employee communications related to HRSC initiatives and processes within the HRSC Oversee the communications components of the HR Service Center Continuity of Business (COB) Plan. Maintain Everbridge HRSC employee data and execute Everbridge testing and execution during emergency events Collaborate on communications initiatives with the HR Service Center (HRSC) staff and leadership, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Corporate Communications on HR-related communications Participate in special projects as needed HR Portal Support: Provide input into the HR Portal strategy, managing the maintenance, governance, growth, branding, and design of the HR Portal as the primary source of truth for HR related information Collaborate and consult with HR Portal content owners to ensure content and design maximizes employee understanding and satisfaction Recommend portal design and content changes as needed Proactively drive customer experience through strategic content decisions driven by analytics, cyclical events, HR stakeholders, service desk requests, and other opportunities Basic experience with web technologies including HTML, instructional design, and site architecture

Qualifications: Required Work Experience: Communications, Instructional Design, Journalism, or a related field 3 + years communication experience Technical Knowledge: Advanced proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), basic HTML, graphic design, and video editing Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with virtual teams and internal business partners Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving abilities and project management skills Advanced analytical, editing and publishing skills Education: Bachelors Degree (Required)
