The Data Science Institute's
Digital Communication Specialist
is the voice of the ACR's efforts in the cutting-edge world of AI and emerging technology in healthcare, planning and executing content strategies for connecting with members, industry, patients, regulatory bodies, and the greater population. This role will interface with DSI staff and leadership, departments across the ACR, ACR membership, and industry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop articles and content of ACR's work and interests in medical imaging AI. Write and publish DSI news articles and updates Conduct and publish interviews with industry, health care leaders, and clinicians in medical imaging AI. Editing, proofing, and publishing Op-Ed articles from medical imaging AI experts.
Develop and maintain ACR DSI's web content Organize, label, and publish DSI's web content directly onto our Sitecore CMS. Formulate and execute strategies and plans to expand and curate website content based on organization goals. Conduct annual reviews of website content to ensure top our web strategies continue to meet our long-term goals. Utilize google analytics to report on what topics, content, and authors receive the most impact and which areas do not.
Work with a wide variety of digital mediums to convey messaging about DSI information such as podcasts, graphics, infographics, video, etc. Assist in the development of webinars Assist in the development of AI educational material for our various audiences Assist in conferences and summit for outreach and generation of material Perform other duties as assigned Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Journalism or English) preferred 3-6 years managing the digital presence for a product, organization, or a publication of which, 1-3 years minimum experience with healthcare or data science as a topic is preferred
Experience in b2b publishing, medical publishing, or professional associations preferred Experience utilizing social media platforms in outreach Experience across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Bluesky, TikTok, Twitter(X), and Instagram
Experience in web technologies and web publications Introductory design skills necessary to create visual content for social media
This position will work on a Remote Primary basis. Remote workers must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management, and be highly organized. Reliable internet connection is a must!
ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to our full suite of comprehensive benefits. ACR's goal is to pay competitively and equitably. It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case's circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the range is $71,000 - $95,000.
