Job Title: Technical WriterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer who is proficient in creating and revising complex technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of code and accessories such as XML, S1000D, and SGML authoring and publishing suites, style sheets, Document Type Definition, Data Modules, business rules, XSL-FO, and other tools in support of the marketing, operation, repair, and maintenance of company Technical Documentation products.Responsibilities
Create and revise complex technical documentation.
Ensure all modified or developed tools, processes, accessories, and software code conform to company, industry, and government standards and specifications.
Ensure tools perform the functions intended.
Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years experience working with XML, CCMS, and XSLT. Expert level knowledge of markup languages. Experience with XML publishing and software tools. Experience with XML Component Content Management Systems (CCMS). Experience with XML development tools such as Arbortext and XML Spy. Experience writing XML to XML or XML to text transforms with XSLT 2.0. Knowledge of XSL-FO 1.1 functionality. Experience with xPath. Experience with MIL-STD-, MIL-STD-, and/or MIL-DTL- standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Helps establish new processes to increase efficiency. Technical writing experience preferred.
