The Fremont Police Department is hiring for the position of
Police Communications Dispatcher Lateral . Recruitment Process Step 1: Apply
Applicants must attach a valid typing certificate. A valid typing certificate must include all of the following requirements:
Ability to type no less than 45 net words per minute Must be dated within the last 12 months Can be completed online
Step 2: Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) Step 3: Management Panel Interview Step 4: Polygraph Step 5: Background Step 6: Executive Panel Interview Step 7: Conditional Offer (Final job offer is dependent on the Medical and Psychological evaluations) Minimum Qualifications
A lateral dispatcher must be currently employed as a Dispatcher by a California public safety agency and needs to have successfully completed probation with the current agency. Candidates who are not currently employed as a Dispatcher by a California public safety agency are encouraged to apply to our Entry-level Dispatcher position. Review of Applications
