The Senior Digital Content Professional is responsible for putting the organization's digital workplace content strategy into action to improve workforce productivity, efficiency and engagement. The candidate will work with a diverse range of internal clients to determine content needs, while reviewing and optimizing existing content, coordinating resources in the creation of new content and tracking the effectiveness of content initiatives. The Senior Digital Content Professional will also act as a deputy to the Editorial Content Manager, ensuring that the information architecture, content development governance process and editorial guidelines are followed to maintain the vision of the digital workplace. Candidate should be a self-starter and exceptionally organized with the ability to function successfully in a large, dynamic and fast-paced organization.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Writes, aggregates, edits, manages and publishes a wide range of clinical, academic and corporate content on the digital workplace. Meets with internal stakeholders and business partners to determine content needs and appropriate audiences, ensure accuracy and deliver an optimal user experience. Determines appropriate messaging and tagging relationships as well as and effectiveness of current pages. Determines appropriate audiences / personas to create compelling, targeted content. Ensures content "voice" is consistent with brand guidelines and values, including content from outside resources. Identifies new content ideas and engaging delivery methods that champion our organizational mission and successes, which may include the use of graphics or multimedia content when appropriate. Maintains a content calendar and content process; implements changes when needed. Monitors internal and external Jefferson vehicles to understand pressing business initiatives and to ensure consistency of messaging. Uses project management skills to handle multiple concurrent content projects and stakeholders. Monitors traffic and determines opportunities for improvement. EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years of experience managing content and production for high traffic websites. Knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (Sitecore, Adobe CQ, WordPress, Drupal, etc.) a plus
