Columbus Crew is the first club in Major League Soccer. The Crew is operated by Haslam Sports Group and The Edwards Family. The Club has won three MLS Cup championships in 2008, 2020 and 2023, one Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 2002, MLS Supporters' Shield titles in 2004, 2008 and 2009, the Leagues Cup in 2024 and the Campeones Cup in 2021. The 2025 campaign is the Crew's 30th season in MLS as well as the Club's fourth full season at Lower.com Field.

Description

Columbus Crew is offering Matchday Communications positions with the Crew Communications Department for the 2025 MLS season. This position touches all departmental activities on Crew matchday, including but not limited to media credentialing and check-in, photo marshal assistance, statistical creation and distribution as well as post-match quote transcription. This position has frequent interaction with Crew management, along with team staff from other MLS clubs. Professionalism and attention to detail are critical attributes for this opportunity.

The position is paid hourly and requires participation in most Crew home matches.

Opportunities & Responsibilities Assist Communications Department with Matchday media relations responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

Press box management Media credentialing Statistical spotting Photo marshaling Capturing and transcribing post-match quotes

Other projects as opportunities arise Required skills, experience & abilities

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age Must be enrolled in a college or university program or be a recent graduate Able to attend most Crew home matches, including evening and weekend assignments Excellent writing abilities and attention to detail Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism within a professional sports environment and in media work zones Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic proficiency with Adobe products a plus Knowledge of Columbus Crew and Major League Soccer preferred
