ComForCare Home Care in Avon, Ct is searching for a Home Care Marketer to join our team. This position is crucial for developing key referral sources and turning referrals into new clients. The ideal candidate will have an "you need us" attitude to secure clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources, including but not limited to the following: Independent Living Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Adult Home, Senior Housing, Skilled Nursing Facilities, doctor offices, and other healthcare providers to generate referrals.
- Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential referral sources within the agency's territory and surrounding area
- Be able to obtain new referral sources.
- Have effective marketing strategies.
- Capable in making regular visits to referral sources to build and nurture relationships.
- Track and report on referral activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless transition of patients from referral to care.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and community outreach programs.
- Must have healthcare marketing experience, preferably in home care.
- Strong understanding of the in-home healthcare system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in making decisions and taking initiative.
- Ability to be subordinate to management while demonstrating leadership in the field.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
