Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking a data-driven, insights-rich Marketing and Communications Manager. This role focuses on executing the Consumer Goods and Services (CG&S) industry content strategy and implementing external and internal multichannel marketing initiatives. A strong background in marketing and communications within the Retail or Consumer Goods industry is desirable.
What you will do:
Execute the CG&S industry content strategy, ensuring alignment with priority issue-based campaigns and CG&S Eminence Program activities.
Partner with Marketers across the company to consolidate marketing efforts, maximize investment, and reduce duplication.
Collaborate with business and subject matter experts to develop content-related marketing activities.
Work with designers to create diverse content assets, including reports, videos, podcasts, and social media materials.
Develop internal assets such as portal articles for Retail industry teams.
Ensure all quality assurance steps, including approvals, legal reviews, and proofreading, are completed.
Support multichannel strategy execution and track content performance using Marketing and Communications technology tools.
Develop and execute activation plans for campaigns in Europe, North America, and Growth Markets.
Work with Customer Relationship Management Marketers to provide relevant content for account activation.
Identify and develop client stories for reputation marketing and pursuit initiatives.
Provide marketing support for CG&S events, such as The Consumer Goods Forum.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the Retail or Consumer Goods industry.
Experience in marketing concepts, branding, and message development.
Proven ability to design, implement, and measure multi-faceted marketing plans and programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to multiple audiences.
Excellent organization, project management, and content development skills.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
Proactive problem-solver with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
Experience in digital and social media marketing, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Generative AI tools for content creation.
Passion for emerging trends in Life Sciences and the future of consumer goods.
Ability to work virtually and participate in meetings across multiple time zones.
Creativity and passion for innovation in the Consumer Goods industry.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Flexibility to adapt to a virtual work environment.
