Their AI platform helps public defenders analyze body-cam footage to hold law enforcement accountable and advocate for their disproportionately Black and brown clients. You will play a critical role in accelerating brand awareness, generating interest, and strengthening credibility within their target audience. With strong product-market fit and rapid growth, this role presents an exciting opportunity to shape and execute high-impact marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities Events & Partnerships: Build relationships with national and local public defender associations to drive awareness through in-person events, virtual webinars, and member communications. Content Creation: Develop engaging, SEO-optimized content for landing pages, social media, and sales collateral to highlight JusticeText's team, product, and partner success stories. Press & Media: Secure consistent press coverage by drafting compelling pitches and managing relationships with local, national, and industry-specific reporters. Website Management: Oversee periodic website updates to ensure alignment with the latest brand messaging and product positioning. Marketing Analytics: Evaluate the ROI of marketing initiatives and their impact on lead generation, brand awareness, and overall growth. Required Skills & Experience 4-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a vertical SaaS startup. Strong knowledge of multiple marketing channels, including content, events, press, and digital campaigns. Ability to take high-level strategies and execute them effectively from ideation to implementation. Excellent storytelling skills with an ability to clearly communicate brand value to target audiences. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders, including public defenders. Experience managing external contractors (e.g., agencies, freelancers) to expand marketing capacity when needed. Proven track record of working in a fast-paced startup environment.
