Position Overview : The VP of Operations works with the leadership team to develop and implement project and action plans, with a focus on implementing the new store opening playbook across various locations. This role requires relocation to Los Angeles to provide hands-on leadership of their first several locations. Key Responsibilities : Develop and execute the operational strategy for launching de novo med spa locations across multiple regions Ensure the smooth integration of services, products, and staffing with new openings Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to set goals and performance metrics for new site rollouts Leverage industry relationships and network to accelerate growth and operational excellence New Location Build-Out : Implement the new store opening playbook Manage the timeline and budget for opening new med spa locations, including vendor management and contractor coordination Oversee the implementation of all physical infrastructure, IT, and client management systems to ensure readiness for new locations Personally drive key aspects of location launches, working directly with contractors, vendors, and staff Build and lead a high-performing operations team to support the development and growth of new locations Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of med spa staff, ensuring alignment with company culture and goals Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clinical and non-clinical staff across all locations Collaborate with the finance team to establish and manage operational budgets, forecasting, and financial targets for each location Monitor key financial metrics including profit margins, revenue growth, and cost control to ensure profitability across locations Customer Experience : Implement operational systems that ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience Establish processes for client retention, feedback collection, and loyalty program implementation Compliance and Regulatory Management : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare and licensing requirements Oversee the setup of compliance protocols related to medical procedures, safety standards, and HIPAA Regularly evaluate operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement, growth, and efficiency gains Lead initiatives to optimize service delivery, patient care, and operational workflows across all locations Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Education and Experience : 5-7 years of operational leadership experience, with a strong preference for experience in multi-location operations within med spa, aesthetics, or a related industry Proven track record of opening de novo locations, scaling businesses, and improving operational efficiency Direct experience managing and developing teams of aesthetic practitioners Essential Skills and Abilities : Excellent leadership and team-building skills with a focus on fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture Expert project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage shifting timelines Experience managing vendor relationships for new location build-outs and launches Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance within the healthcare or aesthetics industry Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Experience in budgeting and managing P&L Ability to work effectively in a lean team environment where direct execution is required What They Offer : Competitive Compensation Package : Competitive cash compensation Meaningful equity package in a high-growth business Healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Growth & Impact : Ground-floor opportunity to shape a rapidly growing aesthetics business Direct involvement in strategic decisions working closely with founders Ability to build and lead a team from scratch Location : Based in Los Angeles working with their first flagship locations Modern, premium studios in the aesthetics industry Opportunity to establish and scale their market presence within and outside LA
