***This role will be hybrid, based in either our Mendota Heights, MN or NYC office

Overview

The content manager helps develop and implement the brand publishing approach required to build digital authority, audience credibility and inbound traffic around a core family of topics. This individual achieves this by aligning content creation to support engagement with one or more target audiences and related keyword universes. This person owns the development of the editorial calendar and the creation of related primary and derivative formats to support the publishing frequency required to build inbound traffic and engagement.

Responsibilities

Use audience insights, personas, keyword research, messaging themes, campaign plans, competitive information and content performance analytics to build an editorial calendar and create related content.

Create a steady stream of primary & derivative asset types that can be leveraged across various channels and use cases

Engage and collaborate with cross-functional participants (e.g. marketing, corporate communications, IT, & agencies.) as needed to support content ideation, creation, activation and measurement requirements

Manage meeting & resource schedules, workflows and deadlines associated with content marketing activities

Build and maintain partnerships with relevant industry influencers & publications.

Execute keyword research and define a keyword universe that aligns with audience needs, business priorities & inbound traffic goals.

Create standard corporate presentations for sales enablement using Digideck

Publish to the Astrella website using the content management system

Contribute to SEO & SEM initiatives with keyword optimization, content tagging and metadata management

Collaborate with other functions to gather the information needed to optimize content asset creation, performance & measurement

Collect, analyze & report on content marketing success via standard content marketing related KPIs, using web analytics tools, marketing automation platforms, social media management tools, content marketing software and business intelligence platforms to inform and optimize ongoing content marketing efforts

Compensation

$75,000-85,000 annually
