Senior Designer

You will be a highly energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset that understands our brand's aesthetic and customer for Yitty.

and partner closely with
Merchandising, Product Development, Production
and
Technical Design

junior designers
that you will mentor and guide.
What you will do: Collaborate with Sr. Design Director to implement design strategy for Yitty's research and development strategy leading with a fashion and trend-forward aesthetic Lead team in research and shopping the marketplace and our competitors for inspiration and product opportunities including trend, silhouette, mood boards, color stories and fabric boards. Be able to develop story telling concepts from fabrics, to color, mood and silhouette for each quarter. Be an expert in both runway and lifestyle fashion trends- know the current leading brands Lead design team in execution of seasonal concept and design direction, creating styles that support line plans, assortment strategies, price points that are consistent with current market trends and present to the Sr Design Director Collaborate with Product Development team and lead designers to operate within the set cost targets, proactively escalating exceptions to the Sr Design Director for review and approval. Design and develop products until ready for production, ensuring quality execution and consistency as it relates to fit, fabric, trims, construction, and finish Be an expert in nuances of fashion silhouettes, fit and construction to be able to lead design and tech teams in communicating and executing the design vision Create, maintain and update construction details, including fit comments and design changes in PLM Adhere to Product Creation time and action calendar, managing and leading junior designers where applicable, to complete objectives on time Build strong cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design and Product Development and proactively communicate changes and/or updates accordingly. Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary Entrepreneurial go-getter attitude and highly motivated. What you can bring:
8+ years previous design experience, in shapewear, intimates and life wear product. Proven track record of identifying trends and delivering results Solid understanding of the marketplace and competitive set Must have experience in construction and fitting of plus and missy size markets Strong knowledge shaping and compression fabrics. Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, fit, and finishing Understanding of R&D and innovation development Expertise in working in multiple seasons at once to completion. Previous experience with managing Must be able to troubleshoot, be resourceful and problem solve. Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for flat sketching and print recoloring and development Working knowledge of PLM, Microsoft PowerPoint, Office and Excel Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation Ability to multi-task, think and work creatively with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment

The annual base salary range for this position is from
$89,100-$120,000 . The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
