Boston Landmarks Orchestra is looking for a candidate to help drive our fundraising and marketing efforts. About the job As Development/Marketing Associate, you’ll be responsible for: Processing donations, generating reports, and maintaining donor lists. Thanking donors and communicating with them in a variety of ways. Coordinating annual fund campaigns via mail, email, and social media. Overseeing digital marketing efforts including social media posts and email campaigns. Playing a key role in our annual Gala/Special Events, including sponsorships, auction items, and event logistics. Supporting the Co-Executive Directors in board matters. Researching current patrons to identify new donor prospects. Assisting in office management tasks, including meeting notes and preparing minutes. Recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers. Supporting our ongoing events, including concerts and education/community engagement activities. About you You love to work: Collaboratively as a member of a team, in a diverse, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment, on multiple projects, adjusting priorities as needed. You have: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Great attention to detail. Good computer skills. Proficiency in social media, with a focus on performing arts. 3-4 years work experience. A background/love for classical music. It’s also nice if you have: Experience with donor database software, especially Bloomerang. This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $47,000 – $52,000 depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, 80% paid by us, and generous paid time off beginning at 18 days. We are a hybrid/remote office, with 3-5 days in person except during the summer concert season, which is full-time in person. You’ll be asked to work some evening/weekend hours, especially during summer months when we perform our main season concerts.
