Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr We're seeking a data-driven Retention Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategies that increase customer lifetime value and drive repeat orders across our digital and retail channels. This role will own our post-purchase customer journey through email, SMS, and other marketing channels, helping customers find more ways to wear Young Days. At Young Days, we create fun, well-made clothing that kids won’t want to take off—and parents will be glad they don’t have to. Our designs combine playful style with lasting quality, making everyday wear joyful. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive retention marketing strategies to increase repeat orders, customer lifetime value, and overall retention metrics across both ecommerce and retail customers Own and optimize our email marketing and SMS programs, including segmentation, automation flows, and campaign calendars that inspire customers Design and implement personalized customer journeys based on previous products, order history, and engagement patterns Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for targeted retention campaigns, such as restocking best sellers, expanding prints to new silhouettes, and gift-giving occasions Partner with our creative team to develop compelling content that showcases Young Days and inspires customers to buy more Monitor and report on key retention metrics including repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value, cross-channel conversion, and channel-specific performance Test and optimize campaigns through A/B testing, cohort analysis, and other data-driven methods Collaborate with retail, product, customer service, and design teams to ensure a cohesive omnichannel customer experience Requirements Essential Qualifications 4+ years of experience in retention marketing, CRM, or similar role Proven track record of improving customer retention metrics and driving revenue growth Strong experience with email and SMS marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot) Excellent analytical skills with ability to derive insights from customer data Strong understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing Proficiency in analyzing and reporting on marketing metrics Experience with omnichannel marketing Preferred Qualifications Experience in apparel, children, or DTC brands Strong experience with Klaviyo and Shopify Knowledge of marketing automation and CDP platforms Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical analysis Understanding of personalization and recommendation engines Experience with predictive analytics and customer behavior modeling Background in brick-and-mortar to digital conversion and vice versa Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
