We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Men's Assistant Technical Designer to join our growing Private Label team. The ideal candidate has a passion for menswear and possesses a strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and technical design principles. This role will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure the successful development and execution of high-quality men's casual sportswear apparel.

In this role, you'll work out of our NYC office 4 or 5 days per week, and will collaborate closely with the broader creative and marketing teams.

You will:

Create detailed technical measurement specifications and grade matrices for various men's apparel categories, including wovens, knits, and outerwear Measure samples and garments to ensure adherence to design specifications and size standards Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into technically feasible garments Identify and resolve potential fit and production issues Participate in fit sessions on live models, providing clear and concise feedback to factories Maintain accurate records of all technical specifications and revisions Communicate effectively with overseas factories and vendors Stay current on industry trends, fabrications, and garment construction techniques Assist with other technical design tasks as needed The ideal candidate:

Has a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field Has at least 2-3 years of experience in men's technical design, preferably with a focus on men's casual sportswear Has strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and grading. Is proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel Has excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Has a passion for menswear and a keen eye for detail. Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
