Job Description
We are seeking a Content Producer to join our Brand Content team. You will serve as the vital link between our content planning leads and creative/studio resources, with a primary focus on video and audio production. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
You will manage the end-to-end production process for video and audio thought leadership content. This includes estimates, timelines, pre-production & planning, filming, post-production, editing, and creative reviews. You will also handle routing scripts and concepts through the studio to determine resource availability, skill alignment, timing, and cost estimates. You will establish and manage production timelines, and partner with our integrated project manager to ensure timely delivery of all produced assets as part of the broader project plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end content production process for video and audio content that supports our key thought leadership initiatives.
- Partner closely with our internal studio to determine proper resourcing within given budgets, and obtain and scrutinize detailed estimates from production partners to ensure it is answering the creative need.
- Lead the strategic and creative feedback process on rough, fine and final cuts of produced assets, identifying key inputters and final approvers upfront.
- Develop, communicate and implement internal production plans, timelines, and asset trackers for cross-team integrated marketing work streams for our thought leadership initiative.
- Maintain and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders and project management leads on production progress, proactively communicating any shifts or changes in delivery dates as well as the impact of delays in timely feedback.
- Partner with project management lead on baking production timelines & required formats into overall project timeline, ensuring delivery dates align with required in-market dates and trafficking lead times by channel.
- Manage and organize SharePoint folders & Frame.io links for ease of stakeholder access and review.
- Oversee the budget & scope actualization for content development and external vendors to ensure accurate requirements, pricing and delivery.
Qualifications
Competencies:
- Content Production Expertise: Deep understanding of video and audio production processes and lead times, including the latest AI technologies, industry-standard tools, content formats by channel, accessibility requirements and best practices.
- Budget management: Expertise in scoping and cost benchmarking, understanding standard market rates of production services to ensure the team is getting maximum value for its budget.
- Project management: Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects in various stages of production.
- Collaboration: Builds positive relationships with internal teams and external vendors to foster a streamlined production process.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipates, identifies and resolves challenges in the production lifecycle, offering proactive solutions.
- Communication: Ensures clarity and alignment across all stakeholders through timely updates and transparent discussions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in content production with a focus on video and audio; familiarity with agency or in-house creative teams is a plus.
- Tools: Proficiency in production management tools and collaboration software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Frame.io, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in B2B or technology sectors preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or related field.
- Flexibility: Comfort working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment.
