Planet Interactive is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 6-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.

The Client's Global Business Marketing (PBM) team is responsible for increasing consideration with advertisers and media agencies. The ideal Content Marketing Manager will support the team’s priorities by creating and scaling locally relevant and engaging content across owned, paid and industry touchpoints. This person will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, stakeholders and subject matter experts to enable cohesive, strategic and impactful content marketing programs. The role will predominantly support our business in the U.S. and Canada, with some time devoted to Latin America and occasional support of global programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce industry-leading content that both informs and engages the audience, considering all content types and channels available. Approach should be driven by objective, audience, and understanding of what has worked well before.
  • Measure the efficacy of content marketing efforts with the tools & systems in place (while working with analytics to uplevel tracking & understanding) and consistently use insight and learnings to refine, iterate and optimize our approach.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the owned and operated platforms used, identify key objectives for each one and establish an interconnected strategy to ensure a cohesive, integrated approach. This includes but is not limited to the business website/blog, social media channels and advertiser newsletters.
  • Consult with leaders across the Global Sales Org and other teams for subject matter expertise to inform content.
  • Partner with creative leads on the content side (biz site, email) to ensure strategic alignment and quality consistency.

Qualifications:

  • MUST have a B2B background in advertising or digital marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing strategy, preferably in the advertising industry.
  • Exceptional writing skills; while you will often have writing support, you need to know what good looks like.
  • Proficiency in tech platform business models and the advertiser audience.
  • Strong communication, project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering quantifiable business impact.
  • Growth mindset, and willingness to play both leadership and support roles with equal enthusiasm.
