The Executive Editor is the most senior journalism leader at Wisconsin Public Radio. They are responsible for ensuring WPR's Wisconsin journalism is relevant, timely, and factual. This position oversees the daily news magazine show and a team of reporters and editors located in bureaus across the state. The role will require frequent collaboration across multiple departments including programming, marketing, and development. The Executive Editor also manages relationships with external partners. This position reports to the Chief Content Officer.


WPR is a premier source of news in Wisconsin with an audience of nearly a million across radio and digital platforms. Our newsroom is digitally savvy and deeply committed to telling stories about Wisconsin and its residents that provide a deeper understanding of the events, issues, and ideas shaping our world.
