Position Summary: Lead, market and direct activities for NJIT Hub for Creative Placemaking. Convene cross-campus team and promote NJIT’s Film/TV industry workforce development efforts. Host Bi-Weekly MTSM podcast.

Essential Functions:
Director of NJIT Hub for Creative Placemaking:

1. Market Hub, CPC course and any related workshops/bootcamps
2. Attend related industry events
3. Provide related service to NJ NFPs, etc.
4. Interface with industry professionals

NJIT Film/TV Workforce Development:

1. Convene bi-monthly meetings
2. Book Special Guests
3. Interface with Industry and State organizations and professionals
4. Attend industry-related events
5. Market/Promote – Location Management Certificate Course

MTSM Podcast Host:

1. Host Bi-Weekly MTSM podcast
2. Design Content
3. Book Guest Speakers

Prerequisite Qualifications:

1. Advanced Degree and professional certifications in arts, culture and related industries.
2. At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Expertise and related leadership experience with creative placemaking, the arts, culture and creative industries.
2. Knowledge, leadership experience and engagement with municipal, county, statewide arts and cultural-related innovation, activities, funding opportunities.
