We are a Private Label Swimwear Design and Manufacturing company located in Costa Mesa, California.

We are currently looking for a Senior Swim Designer to join our team of incredibly talented Swimwear Designers on one of our swim design teams. The environment is fast-paced, creative, and a ton of fun.

The top candidate will have 10 / 10 Illustrator CAD skills and knowledge of swimwear design and construction. This role would report into the Design Director directly.

Basic responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Managing 1 Associate Designer and 1 Assistant Designer
• Manage internal calendar and hitting all deadlines
• Follow external calendar from retail partners to achieve all deadlines and meet expectations
• Maintain strong pulse on market trends
• Continuous research of current trends
• Trend Research and image sourcing for trend decks
• Assist Design Director in building of trend decks
• Continuous development of new underwire and pad shapes for both cup and band sized bra tops and alpha sized bra tops
• Expert execution of 2D CAD Design in Illustrator
• Manage tech packs and hand over process to PD and Tech
• Manage Fabric and trim development
• Communication with cross-functional teams, mainly Product Development and Technical Design
• Attend all fittings
• Manage 3D Design Designer output
• Assortment Merchandising to line plan development
• Support all team members in the entire process of Design through presentations
• Some domestic travel may be required
