About the Role:
As a Graphic Designer at our Houston-based HQ, you’ll play a vital role in creating visually compelling assets for internal and external purposes, including partnerships, marketing, and corporate growth. Reporting to the Head of Product Hardware, this fast-paced role involves maintaining design continuity across our platform and supporting marketing and sales materials. You will work on fast-turn, high-priority design tasks requiring adaptability and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. This role is pivotal in meeting our commitments to partner and sales timelines.

  1. Maintain brand consistency across various materials, presentations, and visual assets
  2. Develop diverse materials, from one-pagers to training documents to packaging
  3. Transform data-heavy reports into visually compelling presentations
  4. Create engaging presentations with a focus on visual communication
  5. Design banners, brochures, and promotional items for digital, print, and trade shows
  6. Translate technical drawings into graphics with appropriate detail for a given application
  7. Develop sales collateral and value proposition decks
  8. Design packaging, labeling, and other visual elements
  9. Collaborate within a small, passionate team, sharing ideas, concepts, and designs


About You:
Above all, we seek candidates who excel in design execution, perceptiveness, efficiency, and communication.

Desired characteristics include:
  1. Design-related degree and industry experience preferred
  2. A strong portfolio demonstrating effective visual communication and graphic design sensibilities
  3. Perceptive communication style with the ability to visualize design intent from simple requirements and discuss concepts objectively
  4. Understanding of 3D geometry and capability to work with 3D designs
  5. Effective English language comprehension skills for writing and reviewing copy for concision and brevity
  6. Understanding of global trends, technology, and fashion
  7. Familiarity with consumer retail, technology products, mobile or enterprise software, new market categories, lifestyle brands, and/or startups


Requirements:
  1. Mandatory: Advanced capabilities in design and imaging software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Ai, Id, Ps, Br, etc.)
  2. Preferred: Keyshot or Blender (product rendering), Figma
  3. Bonus points for capabilities in photography/film/editing
