The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR Associate Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations plans that enhance the company's brand, increase visibility, and support business objectives. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in managing media relations and public perception.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with EY management to understand business objectives and establish PR programs that promote the firm.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
3. Manage and oversee all public relations activities, including media relations, press releases, social media, and crisis management.
4. Build positive relationships with key media contacts to gain positive exposure for the firm.
5. Create and distribute compelling content, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.
6. Promote EY through media briefings, news releases, events, and articles.
7. Coordinate national PR strategies with regional public relations efforts.
8. Collaborate with BMC team, including marketing, communications, and executive leadership, to ensure cohesive messaging.
9. Analyze appropriate communications channels to build awareness of the firm's key messages.
10. Prepare and train company spokespeople for media interviews and public appearances.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

1. 7-plus years of public relations/communications-related experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent experience.
3. Demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent project management skills and team building abilities.
