About Us:

The Floor is Llama VFX is a growing visual effects house dedicated to delivering high-quality VFX while integrating ethical AI/ML innovations into traditional pipelines. We collaborate with studios, production companies, and streaming platforms, serving as an outsourcing partner for VFX houses and a direct vendor for productions needing additional capacity.

We are expanding our network of experienced VFX Producers to join our roster. While this is not an immediate hire, we are actively seeking talented producers to call upon as project needs arise.

Role Overview:

As a VFX Producer, you will oversee the execution of VFX work from bidding to final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality. You will collaborate with clients, supervisors, and artists to manage resources, track shot progress, and maintain seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

This role also presents the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge AI/ML-assisted workflows, ensuring they are ethically and responsibly integrated into traditional VFX pipelines to enhance efficiency without compromising artistic integrity.

Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting & Scheduling: Develop and oversee VFX budgets and production schedules.
2. Client & Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and successful project execution.
3. Resource Management: Work with internal and external teams to allocate resources efficiently.
4. Shot Tracking & Delivery: Oversee shot progress, anticipate bottlenecks, and ensure deadlines are met.
5. Pipeline Innovation: Collaborate with the team to evaluate and integrate ethical AI/ML tools that support VFX workflows.
6. Problem Solving: Address production challenges proactively and ensure projects run efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a VFX Producer in a studio, vendor, or freelance capacity.
2. Strong understanding of VFX workflows, including shot tracking, scheduling, and delivery pipelines.
3. Ability to budget, schedule, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Interest or experience in AI/ML-assisted workflows is a plus.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Experience working with remote and multi-vendor teams is a plus.
7. A strong industry network and ability to bring in projects is a huge bonus.
