Invite Only Studios is an experiential recording and photography studio based in the Fashion District of New York City.

Our multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art facility – established in October 2019 – has hosted artists such as Mary J. Blige, Imagine Dragons, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, Burna Boy, Alicia Keys, and Anderson .Paak – to name a few.

We have also hosted events for ESPN, Nike, Def Jam Recordings, Jordan Brand, Status PRO (NFL), and Madison Square Garden (New York Knicks).

In addition, we have created musical content for brands such as Starbucks, JP Morgan-Chase, Sunny D, Pantene, Summer’s Eve, Wendy’s, and Weight Watchers.

Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities

Concept Development

  • Collaborate with artists, directors, and clients to conceptualize the vision for the music project.
  • Define the overall sound and aesthetic of the production.

Songwriting & Arrangement

  • Creative writing of Pop, EDM, Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, and alternative rock compositions.
  • Work with musicians to refine melodies, harmonies, and rhythms.

Sound Design & Audio Editing

  • Design unique soundscapes, beats, and effects to enhance the music.

Skills and Qualifications

Musical Expertise

  • Proficient in music theory, composition, and arrangement.
  • Ability to play one or more instruments (preferred).
  • Expertise in various music genres and production styles.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or FL Studio.
  • Familiarity with audio plugins, MIDI programming, and virtual instruments.

Creativity and Vision

  • Ability to conceptualize and execute unique musical ideas.
  • Skills in songwriting, lyric writing, or vocal arrangement.
  • Problem-solving creativity to enhance a project’s artistic direction.

Project Management

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with artists, engineers, and other production staff.

Communication and Leadership

  • Strong interpersonal skills to guide and inspire artists.
  • Ability to mediate creative differences and ensure a positive working environment.
  • Confidence in directing vocalists and musicians during sessions.

Attention to Detail

  • Acute listening skills to identify and resolve audio issues.
  • Meticulous focus on the quality and coherence of a final production.
