Guilty of Treeson is hiring: Videographer/Social Media Manager in Buckley

Location: Buckley, WA (or willing to relocate)

Who We Are: Guilty of Treeson is a fast-growing tree service and social media brand with millions of views on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Our content fuels the business, bringing in tree jobs, selling arborist gear through Sappy Supplies, and engaging a massive audience of tree workers and outdoor enthusiasts. We’re at a point where I can’t handle filming and social media alone anymore. I need someone who can film on job sites, edit short-form content, and manage social media posting, basically, a mix of a videographer and social media manager This role is a critical first step in building a full social media team. If you’re the right fit, there’s major long-term growth potential.

Who We’re Looking: For The #1 priority is personality and culture fit. You’ll be spending a lot of time on job sites, in the truck, and at the office with me and the crew—so you need to be able to joke around, get along, and enjoy the work. This job is not for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. You’ll be out in the field filming tree removals, flying drones, and capturing high-energy, action-packed footage. Then, you’ll take that content, edit short-form videos, and help manage our Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. You will not need to edit long form YouTube videos. You don’t need to be a professional filmmaker or social media expert, but you should be comfortable with a camera, have basic editing skills, and understand how social media works.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Filming tree jobs & behind-the-scenes content

– Using GoPros, drones, and iPhones to capture the best moments.

- Managing & posting daily social media content – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

- Brainstorming video ideas – Both long-form and short-form.

- Flying drones for aerial shots – If you don’t know how yet, we’ll teach you. - ✂ Editing short-form videos for social media – Basic cutting, adding text/music, and making videos engaging.

- Organizing & sending footage

– Managing SD cards, batteries, and sending files to our YouTube editors in Fargo.

- Office work on non-filming days

– Planning content, reviewing analytics, and keeping our posting schedule on track.

What You Need to Have

✅ A great personality & sense of humor – This is the most important thing. You need to fit in with the crew.

✅ Basic filming & editing skills – You don’t need to be a pro, but you should be comfortable with a camera and know how to make a solid short-form video.

✅ Comfort working on job sites – This is outdoor, high-action filming.

✅ A strong work ethic & willingness to learn – Attitude matters more than experience.

✅ Must be local or willing to relocate – This job requires being on-site regularly, so remote work isn’t an option.

✅ An understanding of social media – You should know what works on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Facebook. Bonus Skills

(Not Required, But a Huge Plus) - More advanced editing experience – Would be useful for occasional projects. - Understanding of social media growth strategies – Knowing what works and why. - Photography skills – High-quality photos for websites & marketing materials. - Comfort driving trucks/equipment – Not required, but useful.
