THE ROLE
We are looking for a Manager, Content & Culture who is passionate about social media. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, socially-savvy, and detail oriented. You should be able to react quickly in a fast paced environment, taking ownership of delivering our best work. You should be truly passionate about social media, what trends are shaping it, what best practice looks like and how brands and fans are changing the landscape.

We call it “Ideas Worth Talking About,” and we're proud to have played a part in some of the most culturally relevant campaigns of the decade for brands like McDonald’s, Adidas, Universal Studios, and YouTube.

YOU ARE A person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly and proactively Not interested in just following trends – you want to create them A self-starter, who’ll take ideas from concept to execution, navigating feedback like a pro Traditional agency experience is not required, but it’s a plus. What matters is your deep understanding of what resonates with social audiences. This role is energetic, innovative and forward-thinking. Alongside engaging with communities, you’ll guide brands by staying ahead of social trends and cultural moments. In return, you’ll join a global agency dedicated to generating buzzworthy ideas for some of the world’s leading brands. WHAT YOU’LL DO Work side by side with our internal and client team to execute established social strategies, helping to inform best-in-class content to establish the brand as an industry leading account on the platform Build, manage, execute and publish a schedule of content that speaks to key moments in sports and culture and ensures optimal execution of platform features (sounds, hashtags, filters, etc) and best practices Attend brand events as the main social media lead, ready to help inform real-time content capture and community engagement Encourage fan engagement through active community management that leverages the established brand personality and tone of voice Serve as the main point of contact for our client, responsible for day to day communication with the brand team both on emails and calls Present content to client, accurately actioning feedback Have a thorough understanding of the brand compass and the social strategy and how it plays out in your day to day role REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE Serial social media user who can show a deep understanding of key platforms Strong passion for all things sports Previous experience running a social channel for a brand preferred Strong community management copywriting abilities Strong conceptual mind Track and analyze key social metrics Client management Strong organizational skills Effective communication skills JOIN US At We Are Social, we celebrate diverse perspectives and experiences.
