Juncos Hollinger Racing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Marketing Director to join our team!

Position Summary:

The Marketing Director’s role comprises several responsibilities from Partnership Management, owning JHR’s CRM database, analyzing media metrics, managing JHR’s LinkedIn presence, full knowledge and understanding of the Branding strategy and implementation, managing the Marketing budget and owning the Crisis Management plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Management & Team Marketing:
  • The Marketing Director is in charge of nurturing and maximizing the value of sponsorship partnerships. They play a pivotal role in fostering successful partnerships with sponsors and maintain ownership of JHR’s CRM platform. They combine relationship management skills with strategic thinking and analytical acumen to deliver value for sponsors, enhance the team's commercial performance, and strengthen its position in the competitive world of IndyCar.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Leads the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns to promote the team, drivers, and sponsors.
  • Sponsorship Activation: Works closely with sponsors to maximize their visibility and ROI through strategic activation plans.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conducts market research, analyzes fan demographics, and monitors industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Identifies and cultivates partnerships that align with the team's brand objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Responsible for maintaining strong and productive relationships with sponsors.
  • Contractual Fulfillment: Oversees the implementation and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements.
  • Activation Planning: Develops and executes activation plans to leverage sponsorships effectively.
  • Sponsorship Renewals and Upselling: Identifies opportunities for sponsorship renewal and upselling.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Tracks and analyzes the performance of sponsorship activations.
  • Event Management: Ensures that sponsors receive memorable and exclusive experiences.
  • Brand Representation: Represents sponsors' interests within the team.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manages budgets allocated for sponsor activations.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiates sponsorship agreements and contract renewals.
  • Industry and Market Analysis: Stays informed about industry trends and competitor sponsorships.
  • LinkedIn Content & Media Metrics:
    • The Marketing Director is responsible for enhancing the team’s online presence through LinkedIn.
    • Content Strategy and Creation: Develops and implements a content calendar aligned with the team’s overall marketing objectives.
    • Community Engagement: Monitors and responds to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers.
    • Campaign Management: Plans and executes LinkedIn campaigns to promote team events.
    • Networking and Relationship Building: Identifies and connects with key stakeholders on LinkedIn.
    • Brand Management: Upholds brand consistency across all LinkedIn communications.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Uses LinkedIn Analytics and other tools to track performance metrics.
  • Branding:
    • The Marketing Director assists in developing and maintaining the team's brand identity.
    • Brand Identity, Brand Manual and Brand Assets: Helps maintain the team’s visual identity.
    • Team Decals, Team Uniforms, Commercial Materials and Marketing Materials: Enforces brand guidelines.
    • Collaborating with Sponsors & Ensuring Brand Consistency: Works closely with sponsors.
    • Brand Analysis and Strategy Development: Monitors and analyzes brand performance metrics.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the annual Marketing budgeting.
    • Monitor and report on department spend.
    • Analyze marketing performance data.
    • Identify Marketing and Sponsorship trends.
    • Continuously monitors budget performance.
  • Crisis Management:
    • Involved in the team’s Crisis Management Plan.
  • Other:
    • Other tasks as required by the Team Principal.
    • Travel to all season races and any tests as determined necessary.
