PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Web Developer 2 to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Merrimack, NH. This is an initial 7-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description:
An Aerospace Leader is seeking an Office 35 Administrator and SharePoint developer to implement, manage and support our Microsoft Office 365 environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other related applications. Preferred is experience with the GCC High cloud environment. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to system architecting and management.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Utilize computer skills to architect, implement and manage M365 environment;.
2. Design and develop products and services using state-of-the-art technology, principles, theories and concepts.
3. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties set forth in Section II above.
4. Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing with working groups.
5. Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations; 6. Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems while adhering to time requirements and schedule

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing custom solutions using the M365 platform, including SharePoint, Teams, Lists, Forms, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc., managing permissions, providing end-user support and ensuring data security and compliance.
- This role is critical to maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our organization by ensuring that our transition to the Office 365 environment is optimized, secure, and up-to-date.
- This role is responsible for configuring our SharePoint platform, including adding document libraries, developing shared storage space, converting processes into SharePoint workflows, and finding solutions to enhance business activity and customize sites based on our business needs.
- Edit, and maintain content on internal Sharepoint web sites. Working with Business Development, Communications, and functional content owners, research and write text, headlines, and captions.
- Coordinate sourcing of appropriate photos and artwork and ensure compliance with the company standards. Assign metadata and coordinate with Multimedia Services.
- Collaborate with content and design working groups that will drive Web content changes and work to accomplish updates. While work on Sharepoint sites is primary, this position could also support creation of video and instructional media programs and printed literature. Video and instructional media: Research and edit scripts for narrative delivery and for other visual media. Literature: As needed, assist the Business Development team in creation and editing of collateral materials. Across all media, write and edit for grammar, punctuation, and consistency of style, and to ensure that information meets the needs of the end user. Review the work of other Website developers. SharePoint Administrator Responsibilities: Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries. Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
- Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.
- Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
- Providing SharePoint support and end-user training.
- Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
- Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
- Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
- Maintaining network infrastructure, as well as managing encryption, security zones, and firewalls.
- Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field.;
- At least 2 years' experience as a MS365 Teams and SharePoint admin/developer.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.
- Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
- Writing skills, evidenced by writing samples.
- Consistent, reliable internet service allowing for effective telecommuting required for remote/hybrid work approval. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite at the facilities in southern New Hampshire and remotely.
