Technical Writer Job at A3 Technology, Inc. in Atlantic City

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This position must support all phases of technical writing and document control.

Essential Job Functions:

• Creation of briefings and PowerPoint presentations to include videos, audios, charts and photos, as applicable.
• Development of hardware and/or software documentation or user manuals.
• Perform configuration management of documentation.
• Participate in audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Assist with documentation of project status reports and management updates.
• Work with customers and technical personnel to gather information required for incorporation into required reports.
• Research additional tools found useful to the organization.
• Convert reports previously generated to current software standards, maintaining information integrity.
• Develop new and maintain existing ISO procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

• Technical writing in an IT environment.
• ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements and clauses.
• Ability to read and analyze technical materials and use technical information gathered to create reports, documents, procedures and presentations.
• Word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software (Microsoft).
• Experience with ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Management (ITSM) is a plus.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED and 10 years' experience OR
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience.

Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
