Job Description
Adventure Tours is a leader in providing unforgettable travel experiences, operating a fleet of over 80 units, including motorcoaches, mini coaches, mini buses, and vans. With a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team to maintain our fleet across five locations. We are seeking a Maintenance Service Writer who is organized, reliable, and tech-savvy.
This vital role is to ensure our fleet runs smoothly and efficiently by coordinating and scheduling maintenance work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring intercompany communication channels, prioritizing service tasks, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance work while adhering to company policies and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and manage intercompany communication channels to prioritize and schedule maintenance work for technicians and outside vendors.
· Organize and maintain service schedules for our fleet of motorcoaches, mini coaches, mini buses, vans, etc.
· Coordinate with technicians and vendors to ensure timely and efficient service.
· Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
· Track and document maintenance work, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
· Participate in regular meetings to stay updated on fleet status and upcoming needs.
· Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including technicians, management, and vendors.
· Handle any additional administrative tasks related to fleet maintenance.
Qualifications:
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in maintenance management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Previous experience in a similar role within the transportation or automotive industry is a plus.
· Knowledge of fleet maintenance and repair processes is preferred.
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday from 9:00AM to 5:30PM
Salary:
- $25-$32 per hour depending on experience
