As a key position within the Marketing Department, the Manager, Marketing Creative reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing. The Manager, Marketing Creative will help lead the creative strategy and execution of high-performing advertising campaigns across paid media channels. This role requires a unique blend of graphic design expertise, brand management, and campaign execution skills, with the ability to guide and develop creative assets tailored for social media, programmatic platforms, web, and print. The Manager, Marketing Creative will collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as the agency liaison to ensure creative excellence and brand consistency. In this role, youll also dive deep into performance analytics to optimize creative decisions and continuously elevate the impact of media campaigns. This position is based out of the Ottawa Tourism offices in beautiful downtown Ottawa. Ottawa Tourism employs a hybrid work model, with some ability for all employees to work remotely. In some cases, certain positions will have an ongoing requirement to maintain a physical presence in the office. Such details will be discussed during the application process. Primary Areas of Responsibility Creative Strategy & Design Conceptualize and execute creative ideas for paid media campaigns that align with broader marketing and organizational goals, leading the development of concepts and ensuring their execution with agency partners and internal teams.Provide creative direction and hands-on design expertise as required to elevate campaign impact, delivering final creative work when required and balancing oversight with execution.Collaborate with the team to ensure cohesive messaging and visuals across campaigns, supporting the development of brand assets such as websites, social media, and photo/video production. Media Campaign Creative Execution Maintain and evolve brand identity and ad creative through the creation of lookbooks, style guides, and creative briefs for campaigns.Work closely with external creative agencies to ensure the delivery of high-performing creative that aligns with the paid media strategy, providing clear guidance, feedback, and approvals.Review and approve creative assets to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to campaign objectives and platform specifications.Experience with creative testing, performance evaluation, and optimizing design for results. In collaboration with the team analyze ad performance metrics, conduct A/B testing, and provide actionable insights to optimize future creative efforts.Develop creative templates and frameworks that enable scalable and efficient ad production while maintaining brand consistency.Proven experience overseeing creative projects from concept through execution. Collaboration and Communication Foster strong relationships across departments, integrating diverse perspectives to inform creative direction.Liaise with external agencies to refine deliverables through clear guidance and constructive feedback.Communicate creative goals and performance insights effectively to stakeholders. Brand Alignment Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across campaigns, with meticulous attention to detail in design and execution.Oversee brand development and enforcement across multiple channels and campaigns, ensuring cohesion and high standards. Desired Qualifications Bachelors degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative marketing role, including experience in graphic design, managing paid media campaigns and working with external creative agencies. Proven track record in creative strategy, design execution, and brand management, preferably in the tourism or destination marketing sector.Expertise in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Strong understanding of paid media channels (social media, programmatic platforms, web, print) and their creative requirements.Experience with performance analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing for creative optimization.Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, develop, and execute impactful creative campaigns.Demonstrated understanding of brand development, standards, and enforcement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working cross-functionally and liaising with external agencies.Ability to give clear, actionable feedback and articulate creative goals to stakeholders.Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Creative thinker with a passion for delivering high-quality design work.Team-oriented and adaptable, thriving in a collaborative environment.Results-driven and committed to continuous improvement. Qualifications souhaites Baccalaurat en marketing, conception graphique, communications ou dans un domaine connexe.Minimum de cinqans dexprience dans un rle de marketing cratif, y compris de lexprience dans la conception graphique, la gestion de campagnes mdiatiques payantes et le travail avec des organismes de cration externes.Exprience avre dans le cadre de stratgies cratives, la ralisation de la conception et la gestion de la marque, de prfrence dans le secteur du tourisme ou encore du marketing de destination.Expertise dans lusage de logiciels de conception graphique comme Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Solide comprhension des canaux de mdias payants (mdias sociaux, plateformes de programmes, Web, presse crite) et de leurs exigences cratives.Exprience avec les outils danalyse du rendement (p.ex., Google Analytics)
