Job Summary
This position is for student actors to co-host an educational technical video series hosted by the National Center for Asphalt Technology at Auburn University. Each video will be between 3 and 5 minutes in duration. This is an
as-needed
position, with approximately 5-10 hours required per project rather than a set weekly schedule.
Essential Functions
Memorize and recite lines and film on location in the laboratory and occasionally in the field
Review scripts and participate in table reads, walk-throughs, dress rehearsals, and filming
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University
Experience in acting performances
Must have transportation within Auburn to drive to the laboratory location
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants will be shown preference if they have experience in filmed performances, memorize technical terms and concepts, or demonstrate acting chemistry with the other actors in the series. Additionally, membership in Auburn University acting clubs is encouraged (AU Players, Media Club, etc.).
Pay Rate
$10.00/hour
