Responsibilities of the Director of E-Commerce Marketing:
Develop and execute the annual eCommerce strategy and digital marketing plan to drive business growth.
Manage the marketing budget effectively to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Establish clear objectives, strategies, and KPIs covering product assortment, pricing, promotions, events, merchandising, and digital marketing initiatives.
Lead the launch of new products and oversee the Amazon online marketplace strategy including performance marketing efforts.
Act as the primary liaison for external agencies, ensuring alignment with brand goals and delivery of high-quality work.
Facilitate the transition from a 2PL model to a 3PL model, enhancing logistics efficiency.
Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on significant website migration projects.
Prepare and present key stakeholder reports, recaps, and analytical insights.
Drive B2B marketing tool strategy and identify opportunities for new digital platforms.
Oversee the PIM/DAM platform management with support from one direct report.
Work collaboratively across departments including finance, inventory management, sales, quality assurance, operations, and procurement.
Analyze performance reports to refine strategies and respond to market trends.
Engage directly with hands-on initiatives while knowing when to delegate tasks to agency partners.
Qualifications for the Director of E-Commerce Marketing:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.
Demonstrated success with Amazon and other online marketplaces.
