Project Manager of Financial Systems (Finance Transformation) @ Multi-Media Tech

Our client is a Global Multi-Media Entertainment Firm in LA seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Systems specialized in ERP systems to be the lead for the company. This person will work with Technology, Accounting, Finance, HR, and Operations Team.
This professional will lead the companies integration and transformation into utilizing Workday and Adaptive working with internal stakeholders from all their departments. Responsible for executing deliverables for the programs including input, integration, and managing comprehensive global project schedules and plans. This individual is going to define and maintain each project scope to ensure changes are formalized through a documented change control process and supervising project resources to manage the completion of project.
Responsibilities: Coordinate with executive Global Financial teams Work directly with the enterprise applications solutions team to help manage the execution of all financial and human capital management software work streams Provide specialized IT services in the management, coordination, scheduling and delivery of large and/or complex technology-based specialized IT project(s) driving projects through various stages of the project lifecycle including project initiation, planning, execution and closure. Create and manage comprehensive, realistic project schedules Define and maintain project scope. Manage the completion of project deliverables through each stage of the project lifecycle. Build project teams and identify stakeholders. Communicate regularly and effectively with stakeholders, technical staff, senior level management and customers regarding project goals, objectives, deliverables, plans and status throughout the project. Provide a variety of project management and consulting services in such areas as data analysis, reporting and research including evaluation of software tools, new technologies and process requirements. Respond creatively to challenges and negotiations with staff, management, clients and vendors to successfully drive the project to closure. Develop and administer project budget. Provide forecasts and projections used to develop budget. Prepare financial status reports, as needed. Manage and support the delivery of project documentation including budgets, business cases, scopes of work, memos of understanding, issue logs, operational turnover documentation and specialty documentation as required by each project. Provide leadership, guidance and direction to staff performing similar work.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, organization development, communication or related discipline Experience with Workday and Adaptive ERP systems 5+ years of Experience in Accounting or Finance before transitioning to Financial Systems 3 years of experience as a Project Leader or Project Manager Excellent data analysis and manipulation skills for the creation and packing of reports for management
