Lead the US based Shopper Marketing team and drives the shopper marketing strategy for the Convenience Retail, Large Store + Emerging Channels teams. This role is the primary liaison between Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Channel Leadership, and a host of other cross‐functional teams that influence and support the shopper journey.

Primary Responsibilities: Defines the role of Customer/Shopper Marketing and drives growth by leading the US based Shopper Marketing agenda both internally and externally for all US based account businesses. Leads a high‐performing team of 4 Shopper Marketing Directors and a team of Shopper Marketing Managers (SMM’s) through all aspects of channel strategy, customer specific marketing, annual planning, contract negotiation, resource utilization, and promotional analysis. Sets the vision and long‐term strategy for the Shopper Marketing team. Builds bench strength for future leadership roles ‐ ability to identify top talent, provide ongoing coaching/feedback, manage dynamic change, identify training needs to enhance skill sets, and conduct career path discussions and progression planning. Turns shopper insights into impactful marketing strategies using Category syndication data, qualitative and quantitative information, Consumer, Shopper and Retailer specific data to define the annual shopper marketing strategy for the organization across multiple channels including Convenience Retail, Mass/Club, Drug/Value, eCommerce, and Grocery. Coaches and mentors Shopper Marketing Directors/Managers to develop and execute results‐driven 360° shopper programming that engages consumers and creates a compelling shopper experience along the path to purchase. Collaborates with executive sales leadership to identify business opportunities by channel/customer and drives purchase intent in support of revenue growth targets and marketing objectives. Expertly represents and translates Department, Brand, Retailer, and Sales goals during internal and external meetings. Brings industry insights and trends to the forefront to educate and strengthen shopper marketing strategies across enterprise customers. Other duties as assigned. Job Specifications: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business, Marketing or related field of study. MBA a plus. More than 10 years of experience in Customer/Shopper Marketing, Key Accounts Sales, Field Marketing, Brand Management and Digital Marketing in the beverage/packaged goods industry. More than 10 years of experience in leading a large team. Microsoft tools with proven advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and PowerBI. Certifications & Licenses: N/A. Syndication data required, Strong negotiation and internal selling skills required.
