Imagehouse is an award-winning advertising agency specializing in local and regional branding for our great clients in multiple industries. We are searching for a creative driven, detail-oriented content creator to produce high-quality outputs for our business and our clients. The content creator will update existing material, generate new work, and identify new ways to reach consumers. They should be familiar with content required for a large variety of social media platforms, blogs, articles, product descriptions, websites, and various marketing materials. This position requires time management and discipline to hit daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Client Relations & Communication: Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication, addressing social media-related requests, and maintaining strong relationships. 

Strategy & Content Planning: Develops and refines social media strategies, coordinates content calendars with clients, and ensures alignment with brand goals.

Content Shoot Coordination & Direction: Schedules and directs content shoots with clients and the photographer/videographer, ensuring all necessary footage is captured for planned content.

Client Communication & Approvals: Maintains ongoing communication with clients, prompting them for necessary content, approvals, and feedback to keep projects on track.

Calendar Management: Prepares and edits monthly content calendars, submits them for client approval, and leads meetings with key clients to review strategy and performance.

Content Creation & Design: Creates graphics from scratch using Canva, produces organic content for Valley-based clients, and ensures a cohesive brand aesthetic. 

Caption Writing & Editing: Writes and refines social media captions to align with each client’s brand voice. 

Team Oversight & Quality Control: Oversees and reviews all content created by the media assistant, including captions, graphics, and videos, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency. 

Excel & Data Management: Manages spreadsheets for clients, including maintaining the NPLSA Excel sheet. 

Miscellaneous Requests: Handles additional client requests related to social media, providing support beyond content creation when needed. 

Skills include, but are not limited to:

·       Positive attitude, and outgoing personality

·       Disciplined, to work independently from home

·       Excellent copywriting skills; outstanding communication skills

·       Must work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, multitasking across multiple teams

·       Basic knowledge of graphic design (i.e., Canva); ability to use Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for basic editing or design a plus

·       Insightful and highly creative with the ability to guide and create compelling content and strong visual eye

·       Solid understanding of leveraging hashtags and trending topics

·       Must be a self-starter who takes initiative

·       Always staying up to date with the social trends and platform changes

·       Ability to express our company’s views creatively through photo and video while engaging directly with visitors to our social channels.

·       Understanding of social and digital analytics, and the ability to prepare reports

·       Ability to report on best performing posts and social metrics

·       Develop an optimal posting schedule and calendar in line with the organization’s broader marketing campaigns

·       Proficient in acquiring new technical skills

·       Experience with website content management (not required but preferred)

·       Photography & photography editing skills a plus

Qualifications Include:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Video Production, or related field preferred

·       Experience with social media, editing tools, such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe creative suite.

·       Proven work experience in content management/social media management - Minimum 1-2 years

·       Reliable transportation

·       Please submit portfolio of work

·       Bilingual, preferred but not required

·       Must live in the McAllen Texas or Harlingen Area.

·       Job Type: Full-time

·       This position is remote, however, the ability to travel throughout the entire Rio Grande Valley will be required, as well as additional travel for conferences and retreats.

·       Immediate opening.

This is a salaried position with monthly stipends to cover home office costs. Quarterly bonuses available for hitting goals and benchmarks.
