Job Summary:
Were looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Transportation Designer to join our team. The perfect candidate will not only excel in transportation design but also actively contribute to innovative solutions that make a positive impact on the community and environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare supporting analysis for signal design plans (clearance calculations, left turn assessments).
- Prepare conceptual intersection layouts, schematics, signal timings and engineering reports.
- Prepare temporary traffic control plans (TTCP)/maintenance of traffic plan (MOT).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative transportation solutions.
- Develop traffic signal design plans for new intersections and/or traffic signal modification plans.
- Design and create technical documents in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to research, analyze, and resolve complex transportation issues.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent in relevant work experience.
- 0-5 years of experience.
- Developing expertise in planning, analysis, design, and documentation.
- Passion for collaboration throughout the development and execution of projects.
- Developing expertise in the principles, practices, and trends of transportation planning.
