Overview:

As the Sr. Communications and PR Manager at Trusted Tech Team, you will lead the development and execution of high-level corporate communication strategies and public relations initiatives across North America, the UK, and EMEA regions. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will take ownership of shaping the company's global narrative, positioning Trusted Tech Team as an industry leader. In addition to corporate communications and PR, you will spearhead community outreach and engagement initiatives, fostering a culture of volunteerism and philanthropy to further enhance the company's reputation and commitment to giving back.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Corporate & Internal Communications:

  • Develop and lead a global corporate communications strategy that aligns with Trusted Tech Team's long-term vision, growth goals, and market positioning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic guidance on corporate messaging and reputation-building efforts.
  • Create a unified corporate narrative, ensuring alignment across all business units and geographies.
  • Oversee the creation of high-impact content, including executive speeches, investor communications, thought leadership articles, and annual reports.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.

Global Public Relations Leadership:

  • Own and manage relationships with external PR agencies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivery of impactful results.
  • Develop and execute global PR plans, including media relations, press release distribution, executive interviews, and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Serve as the company's spokesperson when appropriate, building relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Drive proactive media outreach to secure high-value coverage in top-tier publications across the technology, business, and cloud solution sectors.
  • Oversee international PR efforts, ensuring strategies are tailored to regional markets in North America, the UK, and EMEA regions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market sentiment to inform PR strategies and positioning.

Community Outreach and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement a community outreach strategy to strengthen Trusted Tech Team's connection with local and global communities.
  • Lead volunteerism and philanthropic initiatives, creating opportunities for employees to engage in meaningful service activities.
  • Partner with nonprofit organizations to identify areas where the company can make a positive social impact, aligning with the company's values and mission.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of community events, donation drives, and sponsorships to enhance the company's reputation as a socially responsible organization.
  • Track and measure the impact of community outreach programs, reporting on key outcomes to the leadership team.

Executive & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Lead media training and preparation for executives and key stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of key messages in interviews, conferences, and public forums.
  • Partner with the Head of Global Marketing and leadership team to prepare for high-profile speaking engagements, awards, and industry events.
  • Act as a senior advisor for internal communications, ensuring employees are aligned with the company's mission, values, and objectives.

Deliverables:

  • Global Communications Plan: An annually updated communications strategy document that aligns with business objectives and supports international growth.
  • Community Outreach Plan: A comprehensive plan for volunteerism, philanthropy, and community engagement initiatives, updated annually.
  • Thought Leadership Campaigns: Regularly produced executive-level content, including op-eds, white papers, and panel discussion materials.
  • PR Campaign Reports: Detailed performance reports showcasing the effectiveness of PR campaigns, including KPIs like media coverage, sentiment analysis, and audience reach.
  • Community Impact Reports: Regular updates detailing the outcomes of volunteerism and philanthropy initiatives, including engagement metrics and social impact.
  • Media Relations Roadmap: A comprehensive plan for building and nurturing long-term relationships with top-tier media outlets and industry analysts.
  • Award and Recognition Plans: Strategic submissions for industry and business awards to enhance the company's visibility and credibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related leadership role, preferably in the technology or B2B sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic communications efforts at a global level, including North America, the UK, and EMEA regions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing agency budgets, scopes of work, and execution for projects exceeding $150,000. Proven ability to allocate resources effectively, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables align with strategic objectives, timelines, and financial parameters, while maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the process."
  • Experience managing corporate volunteerism, philanthropic initiatives, and community outreach programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience drafting high-level executive messaging and thought leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in managing relationships with top-tier media outlets and securing impactful coverage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
