SAP is a leading and fast-growing player in the Supply Chain Management software market, dedicated to providing an end-to-end portfolio of Line of Business (LoB) solutions that enable Chief Supply Chain- and Chief Operations Managers to run highly resilient supply chains. We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) (m/f/d) to lead our product marketing efforts and drive brand awareness, thought leadership, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, commercialization, and ultimately revenue and adoption growth within the supply chain management sector.

What your Organization will do:

  1. Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and product strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  2. Event Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. Plan, coordinate, and manage a diverse range of events.
  3. Brand Management: Build and maintain a strong brand identity and positioning for Supply Chain Management. Manage brand reputation and crisis communications.
  4. Demand and Pipeline Generation: Develop and implement effective demand generation strategies, including content marketing, e-mail marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising.
  5. Content Marketing: Work closely with product and engineering teams to launch new products and features. Create high-quality product marketing materials.
  6. Customer Marketing: Build strong relationships with strategic customers and foster customer loyalty.
  7. Organizational Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing organization. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the marketing team.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align marketing efforts with product development and customer needs.

What you bring:

Extensive experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the supply chain or logistics industry with a proven track record of success in technology marketing leadership roles. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, channels and tools. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities. MBA or equivalent degree preferred. Typically requires 15+ years of experience in technology marketing, with a significant portion in supply chain or related industries.
