WMC MARKETING OPERATIONS
Marketing Operations are the owners of Marketing Program and Project Management, Ways of Working, Process Mapping, Tools, Budget, and Headcount. We are a team comprised of project managers, program managers, business operations and way of working experts.
JOB OVERVIEW
This role in the Marketing Operations team focuses on Ways of Working. As the Ways of Working Sr. Manager, you will support the marketing team in process design and change management. You will contribute to a Ways of Working team and create clear documentation and processes for the WMC marketing teams. This includes documentation, training, change management, and regular updates to processes as needed. You will report to the Senior Manager, Team Operations.
You'll collaborate with the Marketing team and partners to establish processes, negotiate timing, and create working documents. You'll work with directors and senior directors to identify needs and make recommendations. You'll proactively identify opportunities for improvement, maintain a request queue and backlog, and manage projects in Workfront. This includes maintaining timelines and records for reporting.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve processes in marketing teams
- Collaborate with marketing leaders to map and understand processes, provide training and manage change
- Ensure adoption of new ways of working and adjust processes for efficiency
- Maintain project list, request queue, backlog, and roadmap for marketing teams, prioritize projects and negotiate between groups
- Create visibility of upcoming projects for leaders using Workfront
- Lead team-adjacent and team meetings to refine operations for marketing teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in project management /process building, marketing operations, business management
- 2+ years' experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
- Knowledge of end-to-end marketing campaign processes and has worked with creative teams or agencies in the past
- People management experience with a people-first mentality and flexible leadership style
- Proficient in using the Workfront project management tool
- Experienced in communicating clear expectations
- Able to navigate through uncertain circumstances, promoting clear understanding with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and 2 years' experience in marketing operations, business management, or related field

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and 2 years' experience in marketing operations, business management, or related field OR 4 years' experience in marketing operations, business management, or related field.
2 years' experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
