Are you a creative storyteller who thrives at the intersection of production and post-production and has a knack for strategic collaboration? This is your opportunity to take ownership of compelling video projects that expose insurance company practices and establish Allied Public Adjusters as the trusted authority in the industry. Reporting directly to the Director of Content, you will lead projects from concept to final delivery while working closely with both the content department and our team of public adjusters to create engaging content that not only tells a story but also serves as a comprehensive claims dossier. Each dossier will be crafted to include a mix of long-form documentaries, short-form social media clips, and operational videos tailored to different audiences including the public and insurance companies.

Role Description
- Collaborate directly with public adjusters and the director of content to develop a multi-format strategy for each assigned claim.
- Transform each claim into a comprehensive claims dossier that may include long-form documentaries, multiple short clips for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and operational videos aimed at insurance companies.
- Oversee the full creative process from pre-production to final delivery including scripting, storyboarding, shot planning, filming, and editing.
- Ensure every project meets high standards in technical quality including lighting, sound, and overall production value.
- Build scalable workflows and systems that streamline the creation of content dossiers and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Utilize tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, ClickUp, and Slack to manage projects efficiently.
- Embrace and integrate AI tools to enhance creativity and optimize video production.
- Work in tandem with the Content and Social Media Strategist to align video deliverables with broader social media strategies and marketing goals.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of experience in video production and editing with a strong portfolio of YouTube and documentary-style content.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong working knowledge of After Effects.
- Familiarity with ClickUp (or similar project management tool), Slack, Riverside, and AI tools for enhancing video workflows.
- Strong storytelling, editing, and audience engagement skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit and meticulous attention to detail.
- Adobe Suite skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign are a plus.
- Experience or willingness to work within regulated industries is a bonus.
