GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Gain real-world marketing experience at Wells, a national building solutions provider and industry leader for over 70 years. Work for a company continuously innovating our product and service offering by helping us expand awareness around our brand and value proposition. We are looking for a part-time intern pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or related to marketing to support the marketing team. This role supports external and internal marketing activities to communicate our products, brand, and culture. The Marketing Intern will support various marketing-related projects, including but not limited to photography coordination, content development, collateral updates, CRM data maintenance, social media execution, and website management. Based on future career development goals, opportunities exist to learn additional areas of marketing such as email, social media, campaign management, graphic design, market research, SEO, videography, and digital advertising. The position would be full-time during the summer months, with the potential to work part-time during the school year. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist marketing team as needed Maintain and update communication platforms Assist with marketing material development EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: High School graduate Pursing degree in Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design Strong communication skills Ability to juggle multiple overlapping tasks Deadline and detail-oriented Experience utilizing MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote) Knowledge of photo editing and Adobe software, a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment. Visual acuity and ability to read small print. Hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to lift and move office supplies and equipment. Mobility and ability to move around the office as needed. WORKING CONDITIONS: Minimal risk of exposure to unusual elements. Minimal risk of safety precautions.
