As the Marketing Manager at American Dream, this position will lead the retail, dining, and events marketing efforts for the Entertainment and Retail center, implementing short-term and long-term plans to increase sales, traffic, and net operating income (NOI). This position will be responsible for developing and executing local marketing strategies, managing budgets, creating campaigns, driving digital engagement, and fostering strong retailer and brand relationships. This position will collaborate with internal clients, external partners, and the public relations team to implement initiatives that align with American Dream's overall marketing strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to drive sales, traffic, and NOI growth for retail, dining, and events.

Oversee the execution of local marketing strategies, including campaign creation, media planning, and budget management.

Build and nurture relationships with retailers, local community partners, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with the public relations team to manage media relations, community engagement, and annual strategy development.

Monitor and analyze competitor activities for trends and insights to inform marketing decisions.

Support the Shopping Center Management team in operational duties and customer service initiatives.

Lead the local marketing team, ensuring alignment with business needs and professional development.

Develop and implement retailer-focused initiatives to increase engagement and participation in marketing programs and special events.

Manage retail and restaurant relationships, ensuring alignment with center objectives and promoting new openings, seasonal activations, and unique offerings.

Create and manage marketing campaigns for new tenant openings, including digital, PR, and in-store strategies.

Coordinate seasonal initiatives, such as holiday promotions, fashion events, and special offers, to drive foot traffic and revenue.

Maintain and update the American Dream Retail Hub app, ensuring all communication and promotional materials are up to date.

Develop grassroots campaigns and partnerships with local organizations to increase community involvement and awareness.

Collaborate with the marketing team on strategic initiatives, budgeting, and campaign management to meet KPIs and revenue targets.

Provide ongoing support and guidance to the Retail & Dining Manager and assist with other marketing responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of marketing or related experience, preferably in retail or the shopping center industry.

Strong business acumen, leadership, and financial management skills.

Experience with digital and social media platforms, media relations, and public relations.

Ability to analyze marketing trends and sales data to drive decision-making.

Exceptional communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.

Experience executing large- and small-scale marketing campaigns a plus

Knowledge of luxury market trends and brand awareness a plus
